The Department of Homeland Security warned last week of potential extremist-fueled violence connected to the long-anticipated lifting of Title 42, just days before enforcement of the Trump-era policy was slated to end before the U.S. Supreme Court intervened, CBS News confirmed with multiple law enforcement sources.

Intelligence officials "have observed calls for attacks targeting primarily migrants and critical infrastructure," according to a bulletin issued on Dec. 23 by the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence & Analysis, which cites social media discussion of "firearms attacks, the placement of land mines along migration routes, and luring migrants into trailers to poison them with gas."

You can't blame somebody for wanting a better life. The guy that just wants honest work to feed his kids is not the problem. The problem is in our government. Even when Ellis island was processing thousands of immigrants a day there were rules, it was not an open border.

Trapper7, anybody physically and mentally able to work is NOT starving in the United states unless they choose too. Our aid programs for the aged the mentally ill and the physically impaired DO need an overhaul. Everybody I know with employees is trying to hire more.

My grandfather, an orphan from Sweden went through Ellis Island. The story he told was you were required to show at least $100 or you didn't qualify for entrance. He didn't have the required funds and neither did many others but the same $100 passed through the fence many times over to get them all in.
So....he was guilty of an immigration infraction. Maybe my whole family should now be rounded up and sent back to Sweden.

simple solution is to deny any $ or benefits to anyone who is a non citizen and enters this country. But, that will never happen because they want to destroy America. So, the whole debate about those who want a better life is not applicable since living off the US government is a better life for 99% of illegal's.

Same thing happened in the early eighties with the packing houses. Packers advertised in south Texas towns and lo and behold plants began filling up with illegals. Didn't take long and wages deflated. Now all we hear is "well, they are only doing the jobs Americans won't".

The number of people coming across the border is a problem, but that is not the solution. The solution lies at very top of US Government and news media outlets that support them. These folks are refusing to enforce immigration laws........and actively seeking to bypass them. To me, that ought to be as illegal as any one individual taking up arms to go to the border, if that is even real, which I doubt it is. Video this morning of 4 illegals trying to break into a home. Ought to be able to shoot them if you shoot anybody, but don't think anyone did.

Somehow, someway, those in charge of this need to be rounded up and arrested and tossed in prison. Likely as not they are in cahoots with cartels. Must be as US Government is last leg of massive smuggling operation of immigrants and drugs. I'm waiting for some ambitions State AG to have them arrested and charged.

Anybody ever wonder what happens to these folks once they cross the border? Close to 250,000 per month. We see them walking in, border patrol loads them up and then.......POOF! They just drop out of sight. Other than the few thousand TX ships to NYC and DC, where do they all go? How do they get there? What documents, papers and other do they get and take with them? Does anybody know? I know I don't.
