Looking at getting a new tractor - main jobs will be to plow a 1/2 mile driveway, skid the occasional log and minor excavation. Kioti is the closest dealer at 45 min with kubota and JD about 1.5hrs further. Does anyone have experience with Kioti in terms of quality/durability etc.? How do they compare to Kubota and JD?

Don't no bout kioti but I have a Kubota as does my brother we've not had any problems at all, I've heard a little negative bout the JD I'm referring to the smaller compact tractors.

My vote is kubota -- don't know the kioti line -- deere is not the way to go in the compact line.

Equipment in this day and age is rather close in terms of quality. I’ve seen brand spanking new broke down in the field many times. Bottom line is…parts. If you work it you will need parts and welding etc. Make sure it’s got the hp you require and roll on. Don’t be scared to mention you’re aware of the other dealers nearby. Make em work for your business.

What's the local dealer like? Does the local dealer keep parts in stock? I could care less about the brand to be honest. How close are you to the dealership?

I never see any kioti tractors working on real farms but I see koboata and JD on them. Now those big farmers can not only afford any small tractor they want but also make their money with their equipment so durability and functionality are top priorities.

Myself for 75 horse and under I'm going with Kubota. Used the heck out of them an drealy have been happy.

I don't know about the Kioti tractors but I agree with those who say dealer support is critical. I use a Kubota and I have never gone to the dealer for a part and it not be in stock. I was complimenting the owner about it one day and he said if he sells 2 of a part a year he stocks it. That type of service is invaluable as I am a small operation and don't have extra equipment sitting around so if my tractor is down, I am dead in the water until it is repaired.

I've got a 73 horse kioti at work. For the most part it has done everything I needed it to. The one thing I am adding is some weight in the tires. Its a little light in the rear. Once in a while I unload heavy pallets full of seed with it and you can feel its a little on the light side. the hydraulics are very strong thus far. We had a smaller JD which was a good tractor, and a large Kubota which was a lemon. We've also have a 100 horse JD, which is twice the tractor the kioti is but also twice the price. For what its worth I would look at kioti for myself, along with a bobcat tractor.

Sent you a PM.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Kioti makes the bobcat tractors. That is what my Massy dealer told me, They sell Massy and Bobcat.

My dad just wore his Kioti tractor out with 3700 hours. It was used to cut grass in a 25 acre orchard and snow blow in the winter. He just bought a new 3032 John Deere. I dont like it. It can’t touch my Kubota

Kubota is the only way to go. Who cares how far the dealer is. You'll almost never need parts. And there is always the internet for parts.

Well when you do need Kubota parts, you better take plenty of cash with you. I love my B3030 Kubota, but not buying parts or filters for it.

i own a kioti dk4710 se tractor, I have owned it for 3 years and it has 300 hours on it. I have the kioti backhoe for it also. Use it mainly for skidding logs and moving dirt/gravel around my property. Attachments i have are skid steer forks, 3 point chipper, 72" bucket, truck plow converted to quick attach to use on the loader, backhoe, 60" brush mower, homemade land plane, rear scrapper blade and a 72" grapple. I have not had any issues with the tractor and have been very happy with the purchase. The rear tires are filled (900 lbs i believe) and i more often than id like to admit lift the rear tires off the ground but usually this is when im moving logs around that are green white/red oak 25+ inch diameter and longer than 13'. I opted for the r4 tires and thankfully even when we have 12"+ of snow have not gotten stuck yet. For what i use the tractor for i definitely love the hydrostatic transmission, this tractor replaced a ford 801 powermaster and honestly i dont miss the old tractor at all except for the fact that the old loader would lift to about 14'. If you have any questions feel free to pm me also.

I have a Kioti DK40SE which was the last year before tier 4 emissions. I think around 2014. It is mostly used for snow removal, road maintenance, handling firewood, and moving round bales of hay. I would buy it again if I needed another one.

I bought my Kioti new about three years ago, along with the front mount snow blower. I also have a 3 point rototiller. Never had any problems with it, been a good machine so far.

What color are these Kioti tractors? Do the loaders come with universal quick attach for buckets and other attachments?

I have a Kioti 55 horsepower, 2019 model. I use it to log with and around the sawmill, food plots and anything else. It does everything I need and more. I do all the maintenance on time and have never had any trouble with it. I use it hard. I would buy another Kioti without a second thought. I haven't seen a Kubota of the same size that can work like my Kioti.
Run, Kioti's are orange just like Kubota. There was a lawsuit I think about the color between Kioti and Kubota about the color. Kioti comes with the quick attatch implements and any other attatchments you want.
