How;'s the battery charge hold up? Do you keep the battery in an inside pocket or anything like that?

I carry 2 batteries, battery life is short at -20 and colder. But on a warm day they last a lot longer, Probably cut 30-40 leaning-bash your teeth out snow covered 2”-3” willows last trip. And didn’t use up one battery. I use 10w hydraulic oil for chain lube. A 0W-30 motor oil would work well too. Regular bar oil is too sticky when it gets cold.

They are very handy. I have a Sawzall that does about the same thing as long as it isn't too big of a branch. I own about every cordless tool there is and anything that requires an extension cord anymore is too much inconvenience. Every single day I marvel at what men did with hand tools 100 years ago.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Love it, great little saw. I bought two 6ah batteries. On Milwaukees website there’s some bad reviews for the 6ah batteries not taking a charge, the 3s are great. So far mine are charging.

I can't speak to those batteries specifically but in general the Lithium tool batteries have a threshold voltage they have to be at to take a charge.
if you run the battery dead then toss it in a cold truck and it sits for a few weeks before you find it and put it on the charger it may not take a charge.
you want to stop as soon as soon as the tool shuts off the first time on a dead battery and get it on the charger the same day.
numbering your batteries with paint marker and making sure you have them all with you that night and anything at or less than half goes on the charger.
that isn't specific to Milwaukee that is the same for all lithium tool batteries especially when cold
lots of people get the battery powered string trimers use them for the last time in September and they sit in the cold garage all winter and won't take a charge come spring , because it got below threshold voltage , there are some videos of guys on youtube giving them power from a power supply with small current to get them up to a point where the factory charger will once again charge them. there is some danger in doing this if the battery has a short it can start a fire so the people who do it do it very carefully watching voltage and current while they do it or they take more risk.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

My neighbor bought his wife the Stihl a couple years ago as a gag. She is a capable woman but can never get his 2 strokes to start.
Joke was on him. She loves the thing and we have to covertly kidnap the thing for small jobs like cleaning out a water gap and fencing
