Good nessssss, it took me all 6. I had the Vowels first try, the vowels and last letter the second try and in the right place but that gave me all kinds of words it could be, lol.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Took me 6 too. Had three letter in the right spot first try. Took the rest to guess the right word.

6 here as well. Had 2 choices on the 6th try and got lucky.

I had the second letter in the right place, and 2 letters in the wrong place, the first try. The second try, using all three of those letters in my word, I got 4 all in the right place. From there I had only 2 choices and I chose the more common word.
Just give me one thing, that I can hold on to. To believe in this livin' is just a hard way to go.
