Been looking at the springbar tents. Anyone have anything to say about them. I’m all for purchasing an American made product if I can. Was checking out the classic jack 100. Will be used by just me for conventions an regular campin

A friend brought one to Elk camp this year, well thought out design, easy set up and looked and felt like quality.

I have the classic jack 140. Great investment but I am sorry to say that the classic jack 100 and 140 are sewn in china. They have other models on their website that are 100% made in America but you’ll pay for it.

Yep, the Classic Jack series is imported. The only stove compatible model they sew in Salt Lake City is the new Skyliner. However, you can add your own jack to any of their USA made tents. Springbar is the one that everyone else copied the design of. Kodiak Flex Bow and Teton Mesa tents are almost identical copies of the Springbar. I have friends who have 30 year old Springbars still going strong.

I have a couple snow trekker tents. They are made in WI and are pricey, but super lightweight and great designs. Easton poles and 7oz canvas. Ive put a hard decade on one of them and its doing great. I hunt a lot on the rocky mountain front where gusts well past 60mph are common.

No designs like the ones your looking at, though the people and product I have dealt with are great
