A good friend turned me on to this and I can see the advantages.
I replaced the dogs and most triggers on my 330s with Belisle triggers.
Now my jaws close tight.
This morning I had a rat in a 330 and it was held by the tail.

I do that too. When the original trigger breaks I put belisle dogs and triggers on the traps.
I even put them on a few old series 1 victors i use for nuisance beaver when there is a chance of a bear taking the catch and trap.

I do think it will pay for itself even in this market.

One other thing I like about the belisle dogs and triggers is you can change them out in the field with a fence pliers.

Yep. I changed to belisle dogs on all 330’s and 280’s and 220’s. Most of my 120’s are already belisles

I use non Belisle's in any areas prone to theft or loss. I changed out the triggers to Belisle's on all of them.

The Belisle dogs are junk ...just bent up sheet metal.

That keeps spreading ovah time.

Give me a Bridger..with a 1/4 inch thick dog anyday

Not the new ones-the old ones were made of thinner metal.
I agree the thin ones were junk.
