I thought you could pedal an e-bike also or they didn't count as bikes
probably would have been better off to mark the location and go back for it the next day than try and push it out.
I have thought about e-bikes to get way in , I have canoed in the past at some places.
there are some e-bikes with cargo racks that could carry 4 quarters since we only get 5 pieces I guess you might have to get a little creative with how you do it like leave the back straps attached to the hide and take head and hide as one with the staps rolled up in it that still leaves the tenderloins and if you save the heart and liver
that really should get changed to 4 quarters , head with hide or proof of sex till registered and backstraps , tenderloins , any rib meat , neck meat or organ meat bagged and kept together as the 5th
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Also sounds like he was pretty out of shape. 3 miles and still not out by 7:30 what was he doing crawling I have used a ebike for the last few years and can truthfully say it’s made it a lot easier to get around and out into the woods and fields for my aging and car accident impacted body, until I got my bike I was almost ready to give up hunting because I just couldn’t get around as well as I needed to, yes I can and have still walked several miles but when I do I’m not going to be much good for anything the next day

Tough crowd here. He probably had a medical condition like a bad heart or bad lungs would be my guess. I don't see how it's much different than if he had a snowmobile or ATV that wouldn't start.
Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait

This story reminds of reading the mountain man journals of when they lost their horses (died, stolen, etc). Life became pretty precarious really quick.
"in the midst of a savage wilderness to depend entirely upon their unassisted strength and hardihood"
