Are there any good books you have really enjoyed? Especially audio books, I am looking at a 10 hour plus drive this weekend and am looking for a good audio book to fill the time.

I have only listened to two but enjoyed both of them. First was "House to House" by Staff Sergeant David Bellavia. Second was "American Buffalo" by Steven Rinella.

I just tossed a bunch of audio book DVD's. I used to love listening to them on the five-hour drive to camp.

Anymore I listen to podcasts, have you considered them? If you have a smart phone you can get them in any subject that interests you. If you have a newer vehicle you can play them over your vehicle's speakers. I have to plug my phone into the auxiliary port on my 2008 Tundra to accomplish that, no Bluetooth in that truck.

I like woodworking and trapping podcasts and Rover's Morning Glory.

There are audio book podcasts.

Eh...wot?

Lugnut, its not really a newer vehicle but it does have a new radio and I listen to them on my phone via bluetooth to the radio using audible. I have never listened to a podcast maybe I can look into some of those If I don't find a book that I want.

BTW it looks like I am heading to your neck of the woods in SEPA. I am making a there and back trip with truck and trailer to a town called New Freedom.

If your into Sci-fi stuff. Most of the Halo and 40K books are good .
The gulag archipelago is free on YouTube and one part is like 11hr.
Gary Paulsens stuff is pretty good.
Brandon Webs ( I think) little red circle is a good one about the seals

Theirs also a lot of trapping podcasts you can listen to for free.

I was new to podcasts up until about three years ago. I'm glad I found them. Look into audio books on podcast. Are you listening to them on DVD now?

New Freedom is about two hours southwest of me on the Maryland border.

You might want to consider Undaunted Courage, the Lewis and Clark story. Very good audiobook.

I've been reading Paul Dorion novels he writes a crime series about a young Maine Game warden. The first book is called The Poachers Son. Very suspenseful reads. I'm pretty sure they're on audio as well.
