Well, Donna was the good luck charm aboard the buggie today!
Caught 4 male and 3 female bobcats today to tie my personal daily record.
I was really hoping to break it!

What part of the world are you in?

Mark, are you trapping Michigan or Texas? That to me is an incredible amount of cats for a day. Four is our best day here in Utah, which we have accomplished several times. We do use a fair amount of Widowmaker . Whose bait do you use?

You're wearing a short sleeve shirt so I'm assuming Texas? Are Texas cats worth anything fur wise?

We're in south Texas. Blizzard one week, trapping in the 80's the next.

Texas cats from this region often grade southwestern so yep, they have a nice return on effort. We don't trap for fur money per se, but we skin and sell everything we can along the way.

My best is 5 also and only did it twice. Have only caught one double at a gap in a hedgerow. Both adult Toms. Made coyote sets on each side of the gap. I dont often set multiple sets for cats. I always thought it a waste of time and traps as I rarely see multiple sets of cat tracks unlike coyotes.
