Jointed "shallow pal" in jailbird.

Regular "shallow pal" in perch

A new 22" jointed "battle cruiser" in rainbow trout. Not happy with this one. More fine tuning needed.

The top ones get 6/0, and the bottom gets 10/0

Those are nice.
You ever try trolling a weighted sardine can lid?
Caught the odd pike on those.

I tried to make some smaller lures, like say number 5, 7 or 9 size stick baits. I just could never get them to track true. They sure looked like they were balanced but that was not the way they worked. I did catch one bass on one.
Nice work. I like the paintng you have where there are not definitive or straight lines between the colors. There are not many definitive or straight lines in the natural world.

All hand carved and assembled. I cut the lips, and bend the through wires, epoxy, sand, paint and then two or three layers of epoxy that gets torched as it cures on a lure spinner

On the bottom lure bring the pink out a bit more, red stripe along the top of the pink line, then violet along the body to that dark spine.
It will kill in waters with whitefish.
I’d also use the same noted pattern and add a bright silver to the belly, early and late season lakers that are up shallower will inhale it.
