Even with all the snow. How about you? You satisfied to live in your area?

Been here my whole life. Love the weather and the variety of terrain in any direction. Getting hard to stomach the influx of people and tax increases though. No idea where to go that would be any better though.

I do love Nevada. Except for the part where Las Vegas and Reno get to decide the elections for the most part. Though I do wish the fishing was a bit better

I like the variety of geography of Washington; mountains, desert, rainforests, intermontane forests, coasts, etc. but the people and politics of Seattle make it almost unbearable. The only way I can put up with it are good friends, and the ability to easily go back and forth to Alaska at least a half dozen times a years. I can fly out of Seattle at 7:30 AM and have my boat in the water by 10 AM.

I really like living where I do. Just want to help re-enstate non-resident trapping so I can trap out of state if I want. Could also due with a few less mosquitos.....

I live in a Sportsmans paradise. Smack dab in the middle of NC. I have easy access to trout fishing, smallmouth fishing, great largemouth fishing, offshore saltwater fishing, deer hunting, waterfowl hunting (if you look hard enough), and all the coyotes and beaver a fellow could want to trap. Pretty mild weather all year just warm in the summer, but that is when I head to the mountains. I've been to every state except Hawaii and Alaska and I can't imagine living anywhere else
Gotta live up to the nickname...

Love Ohio, great big buck opportunities almost in every county in the state. Best walleye fishery in the world. Wish we had the western fur and our waterfowl (which I'm just getting into) could be better, not a great fly zone although Erie is awesome. Oh and we have the Buckeyes to root for, unfortunately also the Browns which is why I hate pro football.

I am happy living in Pennsylvania.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I think most people love where they live or they wouldn’t live there. I joined the military and swore I’d never be back in Georgia, well guess where I am, lol. I like visiting other states, but there’s no place like home. I don’t see how a lot of you guys live without snakes, gators, gnats, and mosquitoes. That dry air would get old after a while I’m sure. Got to have a little humidity in your life to keep you humble. What about those grueling Summers of heat index over 110, gotta sweat out that bulking you did over the winter. May not be good for the women folks and their hair, but they’d learn the art of throwing that mop in a bun and looking just as hot as the temps are. We have liberal hunting seasons and limits. Plenty of fishing in rivers, ponds, and the coast. Heck we ain’t but a couple hours from the Gulf. We don’t deal with blizzards or that wind, except for a hurricane and tornado every now and then. No pale deathly looking folks down here either. That sun will have you a nice shade of slightly burnt just walking to your mailbox. Not to mention we’re home to the repeat National Champions and part of the SEC. Yeah, I think Georgia has got y’all beat!

I don’t think I could live in a blue state. You never know which laws they are going to enact to make a persons life more miserable including gun laws. I am originally from Pennsylvania and it just turned from a purple state to a blue state. I predict bad things are coming there.

Love the U.P..Fairly decent fur, good hunting, great fishery,no sharks,no poisonous snakes or spiders, changing of the seasons are great, snow amounts range from 300" a winter in the far north to 30-80" in the southern "banana belt". Habitat ranges from semi wilderness to farm country.Fairly liberal regulations.Inexpensive licenses compared to other states.Newcomers that move here tend to leave about the time the leaves turn in Sept.

I love Illinois! I live on a good farm and live off the fat of the land. I can fish any day I want, I can hunt any day I want, and I can trap the same way. One thing I like about Illinois this time of year is the lack of mosquitoes. Here's the view out my back window not too long ago. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/01/full-21678-164270-592.jpg) We have some awesome sunsets here.
