I don't think it will last. They just legalized straight walled rifle calibers for deer affective last week here in Illinois. Tons of people have single shot AR 15's here for hunting deer. There is a lot in that bill including you are a felon if you break the law and don't register your rifle. They have a huge list of rifles but only about half are even legal to have. Also have to register each ''high capacity'' magazine. All handguns with more than 12 rounds are to be registered too. Pritzker is a bad guy. He's got our teachers teaching furries and all kinds of garbage now. If you read about the mass shooting he referenced is his speech the person who did the shooting was a man dressed in a dress wearing make-up who climbed to the roof of a building and started shooting people from the roof top. It was at a 4th of July parade in Chicagoland which is not a legal place for our concealed carry people to even have a firearm. So this cross dressing guy went to a gun free zone and shot people then ran off without any resistance because the Deomcrats in illinois made it illegal to carry a gun there. No he is still in jail and they aren't even charging him yet- they are stuck on ''why did you do it'' Democrats do not want to fix people problems they want to make people problems so they can use them as tools to harness the rest of us to their will. It won't last. They are evil.

As I read this my dad’s Winchester model 61 pump action, 22 s, l, lr will be illegal because it has a tube feed magazine that holds more than 10 rounds. So I’m suppose to register it along with its serial number, which I don’t think it has one.

Anyone know this to be true? If, after registering it can I hunt with it?

Old winchesters like that have a serial number. i am sure this law will end up in court. i doubt it stands. i would ignore it. if needs be store it with someone you trust in another state

The only assault here is on the second amendment. These laws should never be passed in the first place to have to go to the supreme court.

What we need to ban is politicians that assault the rights of americans.

We can condemn this action by this Governor but nothing will be done about it. You can’t even vote them out of office since they keep get voting back in.
