It isnt just the flu affecting flocks to make the cost so high...it is everything that goes into their care from ....inflation from the Marxist left agenda on energy .

But what if a bird with the flu, flew into a flue??

Sounds like a bat with the covid

True story. Just left Walmart, with the 60 count box of eggs. The door greeters were checking receipts on anyone with eggs. Seems folks are boosting eggs rather than TVs.

Paid 19 and change, they were 25 last week.

They put down 1.5 million chickens at a facility 15 miles from me a few weeks ago. Missed an opportunity at endless bait I guess! Lol

l here is the way I see it. The local senior center had to raise their weekly lunch from $3.50 to $5.Locals are sure falling off the wall about it. The word around town is that covid nailed about 25% to their coffin. That being said it's a supply and demand issue. Not enough people left for lunch so they had to raise the price.

I'll show them! From now on I'll just have straight bacon for breakfast. No eggs. Save me a bunch of money.

Interesting comments !
Where did the bird flu come from ?
Where did COVID 19 come from?
Who's making money off both?
Why did our country totally shut down?
Funny the only other REPUBLIC form of government I know of , didn't shut down or force people to get vaccinated .
Fewer deaths and came out of the so called pandemic better than our country did!
Also that REPUBLIC form of government doesn't let their government make millions in a couple of years.
They pay their own transportation , and ride a bus to the office.
When did we the people vote to allow our government to vote for their raises , and salary?
When did we the people become a non factor in our government?
Just food for thought!
Learn to live off the land again.
Store foods like they did 100 or more years ago.
They young people of today are in for a world of hurt!

We have met the enemy and the enemy is us!

Speaking of flying predators. Has anyone else noticed a large decrease in raptors this winter. We typically are covered up in hawks in the countryside and have dozens of eagles along my river. I have seen very very few these past two months. Not necessarily sad, just wondering?

I live in a clearing in the middle of the woods. Critters everywhere. 3 years ago 4 chickens escaped from their pen and I was unable to catch them. They roost 30 feet up in trees at night. I really don't like them loose as then I have to worry about keeping them out of the garden. I figured they'd get picked off by predators in short order. 3 years later and they're all still alive LOL.
