At War with a Muskrat by Freddie McKnight.
Almost all of the articles in the Pennsylvania Game News magazine are hunting related. It was good to see a trapping story. It was entertaining reading too.
Eh...wot?

I enjoyed that article, a trap shy muskrat, lol. Actually I don't think he caught the trap shy rat, I think it was another muskrat that migrated into the area.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Edit: As a bonus. The more people that send comments in from different states I will send their legislature and game commission a positive email about trapping. If you have a tag issue and science supports increase I will mention that too.

PGC talks tough on feral swine impacting native species, BUT is woke on feral cat control. Feral cats harvesting should be encouraged on PA Gamelands, since they pose a huge threat to species diversity. How about an article why PA STATE Law protects free roaming cats, EVEN on PA Gamelands. We all encounter these pests on our traplines.... Down here I think all of our "snapping turtles" eat the feral cats...thats atleast what I'm told.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Thanks Hippie, I missed that somehow. I blame it on getting an injection in my eye yesterday.

I sent them another email thanking them for the trapping article, I also really enjoyed the article by Matt Kramer titled "This Ain't a Roadkill". I wish they would run more articles about apprehending poachers and other game law violations like they did years ago.

I know some people that think that was the greatest trapping book ever. I never had it that high, lol. I will say, I had a first edition of Pennsylvania Trapping and Predator Control in my youth and it was perhaps the first method book I ever had and I did like it as I wore it out by handling it many times.
