Anybody read this book? I never read it but did read the after word and appendix and was surprised at the power FEMA has. They supposedly train personnel to take over for publicly elected officials in case they are killed. So FEMA’s staff of trainees would run the country in all crisis situations including a military state of emergency. Anybody know about this?

Who gave FEMA that power?

Nixon created FEMA by executive order to deal with the aftermath of nuclear war, since then it was made responsible for all kinds of national emergencies. FEMA fell under the DHS after it was created after 9-11, and revamped in 2006 after it failed miserably on Katrina. Most of the executive orders it can operate under were created by Kennedy an later Presidents. I was hoping someone knows more about it and can explain it better.

If fema takes over its definately time to load your guns. They were confiscating guns after Katrina. Searching homes without warrants. Then stealing all the guns they could find. No thank you

Don't forget how they loaded up the "undesirables" on bus's and shipped them off to who knows where, never to return!
