Well now that the Vikings are out I’ll be rooting for the bills. If koc can address the defense this off-season the Vikings will be a real contender next season

If barkley has a good game and Giants don't turn it over your Vikings might be in trouble. "If's" play in to every game. If Cousins doesn't throw interceptions, and JJ gets 300 yards, Giants will get blown out. Yes but my IFS really happened ! Yours where dreams !!

The viking's defense has been one of the worst in the NFL all year. You cant win many playoff games with a bad defense. The defensive coordinator will be fired soon. They need to draft defense heavy and go back to a 4-3. The offense would have put up huge numbers if they defense would have gotten off the field more. The Packers? Pfft. Theyre time of relevance is gone.

Theyre time of relevance is gone. Yup- I agree. DC better be gone soon. I doubt anyone seriously thought the Vikings would make a serious run at the Super Bowl. However, what they did this year with a first year head coach, and a HORRIBLE defense, was a lot of fun. Frustrating when the entire nation sees obvious things a DC should be changing, but all you can do is scream at the tv!

Hard to win without a decent defense, I called it when they lost to Dallas, I said they won't win any playoff game this year
At least they had a better record than the cheese heads

When questioned about the defense or lack of it, He commented that the lack of offense had a lot to do with the type of season they were having. When you rack up over 400 yards of offense and win a close game, offense isn't the problem. it only was in a few games. Secondly, they need an offensive line that can block. Cousins is a good QB when he has time to pass. According to several announcers, Cousins has taken more hits than any QB in the NFL. Third (I will get some flack for saying this) Cook needs to go. That would free up some money regarding the salary cap. Mattison would be a better choice. He could play as a starter for almost any team. If you take away Cook's rare breakaway runs, his stats stink. In one of the last games, in the first half he had 18 carries for just over 20 yards. In summary, defense or lack thereof, is what killed the Vikings this season.

I like Cook, but I think his prime has passed. I've always liked Mattison a bit better, and would like to see him take the main roll. That DC (I refuse to speak his name any more) is a cancer. Won't make adjustments, forces his schematic, and just needs to go. I'm waiting for his release to be announced any day. Otherwise, next year will be more of the same. And if that holds true, and I'm an offensive player on that team, I'd be looking to leave.

One other thing, next season the sleeper team is the Lions. Don't underestimate them! I doubt anyone considers them a sleeper team given how they finished out their season.

Well Packers didn't win the Super Bowl. Best consolation prize Vikings lose. Quick question, how many seasons without a Super Bowl win is it?
If that's what it takes to restore your ego after your crappy season, and dealing with your deva, I'm glad we could help. I actually enjoyed our season, but football is only entertainment for me.
