Calling yotes has been more successful than the trapping due to snow depth, storms and what not I can see your point. I wonder if that would apply to Bobcats too

My two otter sets I've been religiously tending on a local Creek that stays open all winter finally paid off. They were both blind sets with 330 body grips. One had a nice male otter and the other one had a very large beaver which must have traveled a ways to get to this part of the creek. 5 weeks ago I had trapped seven Beaver out of this area and haven't seen a sign of any s i n c e but I thought there might have been other Beaver Maybe a quarter to half mile away Upstream and I think this was a traveler. I also think if I wouldn't have had the beaver I would have doubled up on Otter by looking at all the fresh otter tracks around. It was a good day to be out anyway..

What part of the state is that every where around here has at least 12 inches of snow cover No snow here in Sheboygan County, just mud, mud and more mud. Going to change tonight. We'll have slush and snow on top of mud.

What part of the state is that every where around here has at least 12 inches of snow cover The rain this week washed away the last remaining few flakes and otter tracks. In Winnebago county, we have lots of mud too!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain!

What part of the state is that every where around here has at least 12 inches of snow cover SE Wisconsin- we were supposed to get snow last night, just freezing rain. I can push my Berkshires right into the ground with my driver.

Walt,
Good luck with your surgery. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.
