What do the afflicted old farts do to ease the symptoms?
Knees, shoulders, and wrist.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

There is a prescription cream in a white tube. Might be OTC now. Voltarin. My brother-in-law uses it. Didn't help me.

CBD creams are a possibility. Tried one. Nothing but a greasy knee resulted. Don't know how it can get inside a knee.

Voltaren in the over the counter from Walgreen's. Salon Pas patches. And I've been on Relief Factor for over a year and it really helped. Nothing cures it. Try things to find what helps YOU. Everybody is different.

Turmeric, really works for me, tried DSMO, helped but made me itch. Ibuprofen on the bad days. I had synvisc injections in my knees, works great for about 9 months, then get another injection.

Same here. Doc told me I had it in my hands and probably shoulders at 29. I haven’t done anything about it. Just suck it up, but I probably should seek treatment. Is arthritis or of them things that gets worse if you ignore it? Or it just gets worse no matter what you do?

Shoulders and knees can be replaced.
I've had hips and shoulders replaced.
Helps for a long time but old folks get arthritis everywhere.
My advice---Keep moving.

Same here. Got it bad in my facet? joints in my lumbar back. The first few hours of the day are agonizing. I dread getting out of bed. I shuffle around. After I'm up and around, it gets better. Walking seems to make things loosen up so I try to be active but it sucks, especially mornings.

HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE!!!
Get your Dr to give you a prescription. You will know In less than two weeks if it works for you. My knuckles and wrists are now down to normal size, and the pain has been reduced by 95%. I really don't even think about it anymore. I was talking to my dermatologist and he said; "yea, hydroxychloroquine works so good for arthritis that rheumatologist think they should put it in the drinking water ".
Speaking of dermatologists, my psoriasis has been nonexistent for the past two years while I've been taking 200mg of hydroxychloroquine. They prescribed me 400mg a day but I only take half of that since it works so well. It's cheap too (probably why they don't talk about it very much).

I'll surely ask about that!

I dropped 30 pounds 5 years ago. I walk 5-8 miles a day and soak in Epsom salt when I am done.
The worst thing you can do is give in to it. I have it in my hands, wrists, knees and feet.
