My Dr prescribed Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel 1% for my hands and wrists 3 - 4 times a day when it really acts up 1 - 2 times when it's not as much of a discomfort . Weather changes are brutal at times during the winter months .

You're friend along the snare line .

MSM. Takes a bit for results but it has Arrested the spread and have no pain in my hands, knees or neck.
Take 4000 mg a day. I also take 2000 mg of glucosamine.
Vet told us to give it to our old dog for his arthritis. Work well for him so I started using it.

Bee stings. Arthritis snuck up on me gradually and I didn't realize my hands hurt. Then I started keeping bees and get stung every now and then when I accidentally smash one. After a while my hands started hurting I noticed it. Got stung again and they quit hurting for a while again. Not I'm not the quickest at times so it was about the 3rd cycle before I put 2 and 2 together.

I had gotten used to my hands hurting me and didn't realize it intill they were pain free for a while and then it came back. I can tell you I'm ready for bee seasion now.

Gary, I'll let you know when I reach the stage of old fart. I'm still a ways out shocked
I do fake aches and pains from time to time in an attempt to get a massage from the Mrs. You might try that if you're married.
It doesn't always work, but 1 outta 30 attempts is once a month laugh best as I can figure.
Good luck to yas old fart!

Blessings,
Mark

I'll charge you an additional $175 cause I've figured out the issue with your arthritis.
It's called COLD. As in too cold for your soft old fart body now.

You must move south. To warmer temps.
You're welcome!

Same here, my hands and fingers are so bad I can't even compress a 110 spring, sleepless nights after skinning critters.

Limit carbs to under 50 per day. Pasta, potatoes, etc.

So I have dealt with the big A for quite a while. I used the creams and pills just like everyone else. We were in Anthem Arizona a couple weeks ago and my wife needed a chiropractor.
We found a place called the Joint. They take walk ins and had a new patient special $ 29.95. I always need a tune up so I decided to get adjusted also. Dr Palazzo gave me different mobility.
and movement tests. He then adjusted everything he saw and it went good. Then asked me if I had anything else hurting so I told him about hands elbows shoulders etc. He laid me back down was like okay this hurt goes to this area in the spine and this one goes to that one etc. He adjusted individually each area holy cow the pain and inflammation started disappearing. It has been a couple weeks now and still no pain. He recommended monthly adjustments to keep moving forward. I have been going to chiropractor's for 30+ years but finally found the right one.

Sounds awesome. Too bad the chiropractor is not closer to me.

I was talking to my dermatologist and he said; "yea, hydroxychloroquine works so good for arthritis that rheumatologist think they should put it in the drinking water ".
Speaking of dermatologists, my psoriasis has been nonexistent for the past two years while I've been taking 200mg of hydroxychloroquine. They prescribed me 400mg a day but I only take half of that since it works so well. It's cheap too (probably why they don't talk about it very much).

Definitely going to ask my doc about this. That medication got such a bad reputation during the height of Covid, (unjustified I might add) I didn't even know it was readily available. Thanks for the info.

Was at a trapping convention last year, and here came Roy Greenefield. Sat down with me, and handed me a little bottle called “StopPain”. You can buy it at Wally World, now about seven bucks, but last for months. Has a bunch of good stuff in it, including MSM, glucosamine, and some oils, and the thing I like about it the best, it soaks in and dries up within a few minutes. And it WORKS! Only thing I don’t like about it, it makes your hands stink, and that bothers me for the trapping end of things! My hands have several knuckles that are bone on bone, so yes I know what I’m talking about!
