Anybody car to post amount of fur and prices?

Prices won’t be available until tomorrow. Bids have to be in at 10 AM not sure what time they will be posted.

I heard volume was way down. Last year it was 2 rooms full of fur. This year 3/4 of 1 room.

Can’t say it surprises me. No one wants to trap $10.00 coyotes!!

Yes volume of coyotes is down, cats, grease fur about the same. Skulls, antlers and other misc claws, glands, porky, etc about the same. Gonna be interesting to see prices. Turnout is actually quite good. Lot of good demos today and currently watching George do the live auction. Always a good time!

Is this pretty typical for the Jan. sale? Isn't there normally a lot more fur in the March sale? Last year was our first time there.

Last few years we had a lot more coyotes - a reflection of high prices. Great buyer turnout and sounds like everything should move unless there's crazy reserve prices.

Jan sale is usually a lot more coyotes and March has more cats. Grease fur stays pretty consistent at both except for a pile more spring rats at the March sale.

lots a people from post falls here and southeast corner of state also...lots of trappers from washington oregon az montana and wyo as well....well run sale

There is a trappers fur sale in CDA every year. Some time in March, not sure of this years date. Sponsoring organization is Intermountain Fur Harvesters. I think they have a web page.

That group is north idaho, eastern Washington and nw Montana trappers. They make a good regional group since north idaho is a bit remote from the southern part of the state.

you need to give them some time guys. If they aren't still cleaning up they are probably grabbing a bite to eat and heading home. Rusty and crew do a great job but I wouldn't expect any prices for a day or two.

top cat 1083.22 wyoming fur trader....top coyote 177.11 idaho fur ....rats averaged around 2.50.....castor 40 to 45 range

Did they have very many beaver on the auction?
