Two of us limited out this evening on crappies in just over an hour. None where less than 10" and the biggest was 13". They should be some good eating.

I live around (arguably) some of the best crappie fishing in the nation but haven’t wet a line yet. Some of the guys at work have stared catching them, but they aren’t fired up just yet

Been going out several times a week but never had a night like tonight. Dead quiet for about a half hour then have a hard time keeping both lines down at once. Crazy! Been two years since we could fish this lake due to deep snow and bad weather. One night several years ago we caught 3-16" slabs and hope to have another night like that one soon!

Look like some good eating! Haven't been fishing on the ice for a couple of years. Need to get out.

After we finish fileting them out, we got just over 4 lbs of meat to split between the two of us. I'm thinking crappie for lunch today and still plenty for the freezer.
