Hunter I just saw your post as I was gonna make a post about cat gland lures.
I have some good aged glands that I'm about to mix up. I'm not sure what I'm going to add other than some tinctured castor and glycol. I have silver vine but no other glands.
I really like Wayne's Super Cat and it looks like it's fully broke down glands.

Ken I have used and heard great things about broken down cat glands. I just couldnt believe how catty the glands I had smelled fresh. I decided to fully break those down and then whatever I get for the rest of the season will be preserved fresh. I will put both in front of a camera at some point and see what kind of reactions each one gets then figure out how I want to use each in formulation. Good luck with whatever you decide to add to yours! I think Tracy has said that silver vine will be ruined if used with glycol or any other alcohol based products. Yeah I think he recommended petroleum jelly
