Looking for recommendations for a cellular game camera. I have a property that people seem to think is public because there is a decent gravel road going to it. Every time I catch someone there they claim they thought it was public land even though they have to drive past two no trespassing signs to get there. I can tell people have been there again because they broke a trail through the snow.

Which model Tactacam? There are two different models at our local runnings. What is the difference and is the pro model worth the extra 30 bucks?

I haven’t had any trouble out of my spy point micro lte. When I activate them, I check for an update and update accordingly and take them to the field. I’m currently running 5 of them and two of them is on there fourth season with no trouble.

I have 4 tacta cams. I've had no problems. The more expensive one is a no glow flash which might be helpful when dealing with people. They can't see the flash at night. The cheaper one glows red for about a second when it takes a pic at night.

My son an I have 4 Tactacams, probably 3 different models because they are constantly changing them. The buttons are different and set up is different but they all take good pictures. I have actually used them to keep an eye on traps on a damage control job. But they may or may not meet your states requirements for electronic monitoring if that is even allowed.

Got all Spartans. A little on the high side probably but a great app and customer service. With that said, I have some buddies that have all Tactacam and they appear good as well. The only difference that I’ve heard from them is the picture quality if you really want to see detail, but most folks aren’t that fanatical about it, lol.

Can these cameras send a pic to your computer or does it have to go to a phone?

You get the app and put it on your computer or phone. You can set it up to go to your email if you prefer. I just got this pic while typing. Going to the computer is ok if you really don’t care about seeing it happen or using it for hog killing or security purposes.

The Tactacam I have is NOT the top end newest version. I bought it about 1.5 years ago. It is a great cell camera and they have a great app. My only negative is the model I have will not allow pic intervals beyond 1 min. If the camera is on a food source such as a feeder (and you have a monthly plan that has a pic limit)...the 1 min trigger intervals will run thru your pic limit too quickly.

The newer version MAY have 5 min or longer intervals...I'm not sure.

Hmm I have some from 3 years ago I believe and I can set the interval up to hours apart.

The higher end has built in gps if thieves take it you know it As long as it has batteries in it it will tell you where it’s at .
