Once I make it on 1-35 south through DFW and then Waco and then Austin and then SA..... I breathe deep and head to the valley where traffic (vehicle) is so much less congested. Texas population is growing every day. Literally. Haven't heard the Homeland planes in the skies much this year at all. Must be the new plan.

I usually skip those too. But I came across a segment of one of his podcasts where he had Jim Breuer on. Breuer is a funny enough guy and all, but he said some stuff I wouldn't expect from a former SNL cast member. Breuer does not like Hollywood and is one of the reasons he left SNL.

I prefer some of his more "obscure" guests though. The segments with Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock were pretty amazing. I don't necessarily agree with all their theories but it's awesome to listen to them talk about them and present evidence that backs their view. A lot of what they say doesn't necessarily jive with the biblical account of the flood... But they believe that some global cataclysm occurred and the memories of it have been handed down through every culture.

And that's the big thing with Rogan's show... He invites "obscure" people on to talk about topics that wouldn't get airtime otherwise. I may not agree/believe what's discussed but it's nice to hear views discussed free of any narrative/dogma. How I process it is up to me.

Actual discussion that lets the listener draw his/her own conclusions.

I actually found the exact opposite with Graham Hancock, i think

Although I would agree it was an excellent podcast and I am a big fan of Graham Hancock, I would say his ideas actually strengthen the biblical narrative, and aligned pretty well.

I think Christians have a really hard time believing accounts from other religions. For some reason
Like there's a ton of stories about great floods in Native American "folk lore" that Graham talks about.

I bet there's truth in most of them, and I don't think that discredits the biblical narrative
It's my view that two things can be true at once

I enjoy Rogan. I don’t agree with everything he says, but he promotes critical thinking. It’s a nice concept. And he promotes hunting/trapping as well.

I watch Rogan from time to time, but enjoy Lex Fridman's show a lot more. He's usually got some very interesting guests on and he asks some really thought provoking questions. Bonus, he's not high all the time and there's no profanity lol. The retired CIA guy was a fascinating look into that world.

His episodes with Jordan Peterson and Ted Nugent are absolutely some of the best listening you'll ever get anywhere.
Steve Rinella, Cam Hanes, Elon Musk......all excellent.

Nowadays it just don't pay to be a good 'ol boy.

Joe Rogan does lean left but is getting red pilled more every day.

He promotes hunting and eating wild meat and discusses it on his show all the time But yea he's a "Pot head" but has the biggest podcast on the planet. Was funny to watch Elon Musk burn a blunt on his show and then almost took Elons security clearance.

He doesn't hate God. Like seriously, there's a big difference between somone being agnostic or saying they just don't believe in the Christo-judan God or any God and them hating it

Imo, he is the best thing to ever happen to hunting and the outdoors as far as mainstream acceptance of killing animals for food goes.

The biggest, most influential Podcaster in history promotes hunting and uses bulletproof logic to do so

That alone should be enough to look past whatever you could personally find to disagree with him about.

I don't know about that one, he has lots of reach though. I would argue Ted Nugent had a way bigger influence on developing modern hunting. He actually gets involved in fighting legal battles for hunters and always promotes clean and sober living

Yep, was at a Nuge concert in Pontiac, MI about 1980...Through all the pot smoke, the Motor City Madman lectured the throng of teens to not do drugs.

He lived over near Jonesville, MI where some friends told me he was seen around town regularly.
