Came across this video today and thought I would share. A few years ago my friend Rick with two otters in one trap. Anyone else have something like this happen?

I caught two otter in one 330, but the disappointing part was they were both under 12 pounds, tiny little fellows. That was a couple years ago. I don't know how to post pictures

Forgiveness is just a prayer away.

Yes, I have caught two in one 330 before and have heard of many others having it happen. This type of double seems more common than many others because of the way otters travel with their companions. I caught two rats in one 1 /2 coil and another pair in a beaver foothold at one time. I have a friend who has done this multiple times but he traps a ton of rats.

Here is an example of how they "hang" together: This blurry picture was taken from my window of my home.

And this is the pair I caught in the 330. The trigger wires are partially buried in the snow but they were set on the bottom in the shape of a "T". They either went on each side of the trigger or worked their way through as the trap maybe allowed more movement with two in there. Never figured that out since I have pretty sensitive triggers.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

I doubled on otter once in a 330. My BIG double was 2 rats in a 1.5 Jump. One by a front foot and another by the tail and held them both. Sorry this was around 1988 or 89 and I never carried a camera then.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Not that uncommon.
Have caught two otters in 330's 7 times.
And two otters on a snarepole once.

Mink carrying dead rat twice.

Caught two beavers in one 330 once, both were very small cubs on a nuisance job.
Caught doubles on snarepoles for beaver many times.

Local trapper here last season showed me a pic of two otters in a 330 under a culvert her caught. Most frustrating is knowing I had a set there a week before and he set after me and caught them

Caught 2 rats in one trap 3 times, 2 coon in a 220 at the same time, and a rat and a mink in a 110 at the same time. Weird things happen.

Very common for nutria. I imagine I have caught two in one conibear at least a dozen times. If you watch a family moving down a trail, the adults lead, and the young are constantly running or jumping over each other.

I’ve caught 2 otter in 1 330 three times.
Know lots of guys in Missouri who have had it happen.
It’s uncommon but it’s not lol
