Bob. We have all kinds down here. In LOTS of North American = everyone wants a = Black Coyote. But I give 5 or 6 way every year. People I work for = always want = Black coyotes. I fact may we’re amazed one year when I caught 30 or so black coyotes! But 10 % of 300 plus a year on coyotes. Catch lots of them. 1 year. I took out a = whole family group of black coyotes. Like 5 or 6 on 5 miles of road.

Does anybody know why they run black like that in the south?

And possibly some wolf DNA as this study suggested. Other articles I've read do determine that they are much more common in the Southeast.

OK kind of makes sense so there are more domestic dogs running around down in the south then anywhere else

A buddy of mine in Florida catches quite a few black coyotes , he also catches some of the biggest coyotes I’ve ever heard of . Several were weighed by the college at 69#

We , have blacks ,blondes,and red coyotes over here in NJ ,this one was hit by a car not far from me.
