Best ones are in the console when you are running your dumpster line and you realize you forgot to fill your pocket back up before leaving the shed. definitly every truck needs console bullets / glove box bullets / door pocket bullets depending on what your storage space is I save the plastic slide top boxes to refill with bulk always some 12ga also #4 and a few slugs I just don't keep any guns in the truck any more , that comes and goes with me
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Cci makes one they call tactical. Lots cheaper than say ely but a bit higher than a standard round. Copper plated bullet.

I'm talking rifles. Long shots for small game hunting. I do understand not to change bullets when you find one that works but sometimes you can't get those bullets.

I see midway USA has CCI AR Tactical. I know its a strange name but it really is premium 22 ammo.

This is at 40 yards. Aiming at the blue just under the tape line. Look out squirrels.

Cci have different velocities as with other brands higher velocity rounds cycle better shoots in all my guns. Hv or standard. I don't like the stingers or hyper velocity stuff. Lots of CCI

For years I thought my Ruger 10/22 was the finest squirrel hunting rifle made. And it is, for head shooting squirrel at 25 yards or so; for me. And I thought .22 Remington Golden Bullets and WW Super X were the best bullets for squirrel hunting there was.
Then I bought a CZ bolt action .22 rifle. More accurate, a higher level of accuracy. If you want to lay out even more money for better accuracy you can step up to Anchutz rifles. My CZ with no wind can do 3/4 MOA at 100y. Anchutz can do better than that with expensive Ely Tenex ammo. But, you don't really need that kind of accuracy to tater a squirrel.
I'm rambling here.
Guess what I'm trying to say is that if you have an off the shelf .22 hunting rifle, (10/22, Marlin 60 etc.) and shooting squirrel and rabbits at woods ranges, almost any ammo is good enough. Squirrel hunting, I still take the same old Golden Bullets with me to head shoot a squirrel at 30 yards or so. Premium ammo is a waste in an off the shelf hunting rifle .22 IMO.
To answer your question on what is the best? I'd say Ely Tenex Black Box at 18 bux a box last I knew. Very consistent stuff.
Your target looks good enough to me.

CCI Stingers when you can get them. X2 Stingers are like little bombs on a squirrel head. LOL

Trappercass. That is some serious bullseye action. I just had the old marlin bolt action on top of a 2x4. Shooting from a standing position. Too much snow here to haul out all the shooting stuff. That group is with the Remington gold hollow point shells.

I recently purchased some federal 22 rounds. They are round nose lead. Tried to sight them in and and I'm getting way to to many fliers. No consistency. I had been shooting Remington gold hollow points but I couldn't find them. Well yesterday I found some, got them home and all the bullets spin in the brass. Is that an issue? What is the best 22 round? So, back in the olden times, before al gore invented the internet, Outdoor life tested about 50 different. 22 lr ammos for accuracy. The first 2 places went to some ridiculously priced Olympic target ammo. Third place was Winchester super x, plain old, copper plated, round nose. That's what I've been using ever since, if it can be found.
