Wanna Be. A cubby will work for mt lion as well. Why a cubby in Texas? Audad are worth big bucks now to ranchers. Its not 100% but = a good cubby would keep them AND cows out ! Plus. Often with livestock a cubby is the best option with a bobcat or mt lion when in livestock

Ok…for the fun of it I’m making a cubby after this rain ends. Do I leave the back open or enclose it with just the front open? Looks like just the front in the pics. Or if both sides open, a trap on either end? May even wire a squeaker in the middle to give it that somethings alive appeal.

Have bobcat on camera twice, does not even pay any attention to the flagging or cubby.

I would think if open on both ends you need a trap on both ends but I don't know.

I may make a big flashy dirt hole there and try that. Confident in location with bobcat on camera though

I don't set specifically for cats but the last couple I caught was in a big flashy step down dirt hole.
