I didn't realize bobcats like raccoon but I put out a raccoon carcass and the Bobcat found it last night and chewed it up pretty good. A couple nights of season left so I'm hoping it'll come back.

It must be starving. lol Here the cats eat muskrat and beaver carcasses but only cover the coons with debris.

Except for a few folks I know, buzzards are the only things that eat coon here.

Could be. Nothing would surprise me, though this didn't look like bird pecking. Also, I didn't see any bird tracks around there.

Me and my cousin have had several coons caught in 220's ate up to the shoulders by bobcats... Jon

Had a bobcat take a few bites out of a body gripped raccoon, cover it and never come back. I think around here there's so much food normally and the short attention span of cats that they don't need to come back, forget it was there or just lost interest.
