Or have you gave it up due to breeding season now in place.

Im still taking fox, but only as by-catch in my bobcat sets. Not intentionally targeting them.

I have a few sets out only to keep me in the good graces of my neighbors. Picked one up yesterday that didn't look too bad. I skin'm with feet on for a private individual who usually beats what the fur buyers are willing to pay.

I think people gave it up not due to mating season but due to fur prices

Pulled all footholds 2 weeks ago, tired of fighting the weather. Running all cable restraints for coyotes now until end of season. I'm Still releasing all fox I catch.

I hear you PA Trapper. The warm, wet weather over the last month has made running the line difficult by limiting access to my normal spots. I reset some of my line last Friday, the spots I can access (drive in to). I'm heading out to check in a few minutes.

Eh...wot?

I never really got going this year on canine. Weather and so many other commitments I didn't have the time. Did some open water trapping and that was my year in trapping.

Im still after them but not to sell. I got 2 yotes mating on trail camera right in front of one of my sets. It was like a slap in the face.
I'll keep the fur myself and do something with it but im looking to help increase my turkey hatch survival rate so any would be nest raider or turkey predator is welcomed in my traps.
