I have a 20 dollar antenna and pull 30 or so channels and im a half hour to an hour away from towns im pulling in. We have a roku and do pluto (free), frndly(7 bucks), prime (it pays for itself in shipping savings), and disney. Im not a fan of disneys ways but my almost 4 year old son has his heart set on being spiderman and My almost 2 year old daughter loves minnie mouse. Just gotta make sure they dont turn on the woke gay crap.
I toyed with going back to sling but saw they jacked their price WAY up, so not a chance.

Haven't had a TV since 2018 and life is grander without it. I do from time to time watch something on my MacBook and for that we just pay $1.99 as we go from whatever app is carrying it.

I quit paying for satelite TV several years ago. was paying close to 200 a month and often could not find something interesting to watch. Except for movie channels when I did get interested the program was interrupted by commercials. Commercials on programming I was paying for. I got fed up and told them to turn it off. Sent me a box to mail their computer back in. Told me I had to go up on the roof and send back part of the antenna. I told them they put it up there to come take it down, I was to old to climb around on the roof. It is still up there but it dont eat much. Modern antennas dont need a tower. dont even look like antennas. work just fine.

I have Youtube TV which works great for me since I watch sports and YouTube, I do not watch movies or network TV at all. I know I have hundreds of channels, the vast majority of which I will never tune in. I have prime but I honestly have no idea even how to use it.
