Paul, the bottle of Dave Edwards Beaver Lure you gave me, thanks. I have been trying it out and it is flat out hammering the beaver. This past week I had 6 new sites, 4 of the sites, all the beaver were caught the first night, 1 was cleaned out in two nights and the last one 3 nights. Young beaver at that site kept coming from somewhere down stream. Bad mistake!
Meeting Bill Monday for a dozen more sites.
Backbreaker is still king but this stuff is more than a backup lure. Waiting to see how it does when it's 90 degrees, but right now, dang beaver can't help themselves.

I actually had someone call me this morning to tell me how much he liked that lure. I think he was a bit disappointed that I wasn't going to continue making it. It is only a promotional type deal. This coming fall I'm planning on making Dave's other beaver lure. It's also a crackerjack lure.

Its that time of the year when those beavers will start popping up all over that J&W tract. I know you're going to be busy.

Boss I wish you would consider an annual run rather than a one time deal.

I'm thinking I'll be making that one this fall. That was his other beaver lure.

I recall saying that I'd do Tingley's Black Magic Mink lure this coming fall. I may do both and give a choice of which the customers want.

Never used his lure but no surprise, he was a master mind chemist i believe, good guy too, he is missed.

I know Paul knows this as well but Dave got more joy out of developing formulas than he ever did selling lure. I never met anyone who gave away more lure and lure making knowledge than Dave. Very much missed.
