The operational ceiling of an F22 is 65000 feet, The F22 also has an auto cannon. So they could have used that to just put a few holes in it and it would have come down pretty much intact If done on the mostly empty space over Motana, they could have rolled up to it with a couple of semi trailers and had the thing hauled off for examination. BEFORE it flew over a big chunk of the north American continent.

Instead they blow the thing to smithereens over the atlantic.

Some of that crap just don't make any sense.
