Nothing like wing windows to blow the wasp and bees into you while driving nothing like an unexpected sting lol, or even once had a bat hit the wing vent and spin in my open down window and hit me in the head hard and leave a scratch and bruse. I thought it was Large bug untill the next day I got out to get gas and saw the dead bat in the floor between the seat and door.

Sucks to be you, in those cases. I sure miss the triangle door window that used to come on the good old rigs.

First heavy truck I drove was a 1980-ish R model Mack . The fan on the dash left a LOT to be desired..But if you positioned those wings just right and weren’t standing still , then it wasn’t too bad - even on a hot day. Perhaps the best feature tho was the bright light/dimmer light switch which was on the floorboard , just to the left of the clutch pedal. It took some getting used too , but I actually found those switches to be pretty convienant . The new trucks Ive driven it seems like you end up accidentally flashing your brights lights every dang time that you use the turn signal… lol

I would love to find an older ford diesel pickup like the one you posted around here. If the frames not half rusted out and it runs good- definitely buy it!

Well we didn't make it to look at it. After church we were on outer way to the farm Change vehicles and leave from home. But my brother in laws 2001 3500s transmission quit working. It has a Allison 1000 in it. We were going to change the sensors, filters and fluid but the transmission fluid looked like used motor oil and there was plenty of steel shavings in the pan filters ect..

Maybe next weekend?
