Yesterday I harvested my 6th beaver of the season on my great uncles farm here in Missouri and it was a DAM bruiser. Pun intended. grin Been using the Backbreaker lure and it's crazy how effective that stuff is. Not only is it super effective on beavers, but I've been using it at cat and coyote sets and it's drawing interest there as well. The mix of Backbreaker, a castor mound, and a Bridger #5 is my go to and the results have been eye opening. God bless and have a great Friday and a fabulous weekend all!

Wearing them out ain't you. Keep after it and do be surprised if an otter shows up at a set.

My great uncle says he has seen otter in the pits before, but so far I haven't been able to spot one or see any sign of them. I'd be tickled to get an otter though! I'd imagine as many pits and ponds as there are surrounding his property, they likely move around quite a bit but if they decide to investigate, I'll be ready.

It's a blast! Wish I had started trapping light years ago instead of waiting until this year to begin. I'm hooked though.
