Mickey, it looks good now be patient and leave it alone! lol
One of the common mistakes is guys thinking they have to "adjust" something or they need to add more lure, bait etc...just leave it be.

Set and wait…I really don’t care if it’s the bait, lure, or urine that catches…as long as it’s caught. When you find a combo that works, keep replicating it and keep catching.

The animals will critique your sets better than any trapper could. When I was young I loved every new idea I read about in FF&G but the animals graded all my papers in the end!

Only thing I learned about using a tree is it gives them something to brace and pullouts go up.....

Good advice.

That tree set ought to work but next time move it to the right where the dirt meets the trail.

Looks decent to me. I like to put rocks or sticks on the back and sides of the hole to discourage them from working it from the side, but like others have said, the coyotes will tell you exactly what you’re doing wrong, or right. Just gotta pay attention to the sign

I don't trap around trees for the most part but my experience has been the more the ground surrounding a set is open the more coyotes are willing to work it, this may be situational info and I'm sure it is. best of luck.

With low fur prices now is a perfect time to experiment and learn.

I have nothing clever to put here.
