A coalition led by the National Rifle Association this week sued to stop the Biden administration's bid to regulate AR-style "pistols," an effort that could prompt the Supreme Court to finally define what is allowed under the 231-year-old Second Amendment.

While its suit is specifically aimed at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and its flip-flop on regulating and taxing guns, it has the potential to both smoke out the court on what is legal under the Second Amendment and end years of practice by federal agencies and states to make up rules that Congress is supposed to set.

I believe NOTHING from the NRA. (life member) they have become nothing but another political vampire group. I have joined, and I give all my money to the GOA. They are actually in court fighting.

The SC already reiterated the Constitution , even stating citizens right in NYC can carry, despite the liberal "laws" there...why would they need to say it all again ? Or am I missing something ?

I'm saying overall. Where have they been the past 2 years? REALLY! look at the GOA suits filed and the NRA suits filed in court. I'm an NRA life member and disgusted.

would we be in a better position without the nra? I do not think so. Their lobby alone is very powerful. But that is just my opinion and I have not spent time researching that subject.....just what I think.

I thought I'd heard recently the attorney General of California state that despite the Supreme Courts interpretation of the constitution that they(being the state of California)would still prosecute individuals that broke their(California)gun laws

You are right but LiberalDemonrats do not care and prosecute anyway. In WV of all places I did as instructed when I was pulled over for a Bogus Seat Belt Violation. I informed him that I Concealed carry and put my gun on the dash. He took my gun and later I noticed about three more Officers pulled up and when I got my gun back they had completely dismantled my 45 into hundreds of little pieces. ALL this because they THOUGHT I did not have my seat belt on. FIRST you are not allowed to pull a driver over for a seat Belt violation but only for another reason. Then you can ADD a Seat Belt Violation. SECOND my Truck is a 1967 Chevy C-10 short wheel base 4X4 and only has a lapbelt and it was on!!! I have filed an ETHICS Complaint and am waiting on the Court Date!!!

not the first time ive heard (1st hand) of a firearm being returned to a lawful (permitted) motorist under similar circumstances in a completely disassembled state by L.E. is that practice something taught during training or "off the books"? i want it returned in the same condition as when surrendered.
