In this day and age I don't blame them for taking precautions. But after the idiot's speech the other night calling for more gun control... I wouldn't put it past the scum.

I'm almost to the point of thinking most mass shootings are planned by the alphabet agency's. why else would they talk about gun control then a few days later a shooting takes place

My thoughts exactly.

Hopefully nothing goes down. I couldn't care less about professional sports but don't want to see anyone hurt.

Chances are, many of those that will be there voted for it.

It is a basic marketing strategy.

they are selling gun control right now , no question

If they hype up the there is a huge threat we have to do all this xyz measures , searches without warrants , and other freedom kicking

if there is no Mass shooter event , they win, they just need to keep up stomping freedom to make people "feel" safe

if there is a mass shooting event , they win, they need to stomp freedom daily and enact a ton of garbage legislation they won't enforce half of to "make people feel safe"

long game on if there is no mass casualty event it is because they stomped freedom and made people "feel safe"

this is the sales pitch for trading freedom for perceived temporary safety

every super bowl has heightened security most have sniper teams to take out a threat should there be one.

this admin is just using the hype they are creating to sell false "safety"

why would a super bowl be such a target event

well I can think of several reasons
it is a media circus
the world is watching (not me, I only watch if it is the Packers)
there are few real Americans at this event workers , security personnel, and a few who super fans, the cheapest tickets are about 6K
everyone else is very wealthy , élite , "ruling class" to toss out a few terms. basically you couldn't throw a stone without hitting some one well connected and worth big money. High value targets.

these are the people who have 50K to drop on seeing a super bowl in person. these are the people who make political campaign donations at the maximum level , these are the people who buy politicians a contribution at a time.

These are the people Joe and co are selling on false safety. because they are the chief marketers of nearly any product. they buy advertisement in every venue in the country.
the commercials aren't just on the screen they surround the nations biggest marketing event in every way and the first people to sell any sales pitch to is the sales and marketing team and they are in the seats there and watching the years biggest marketing event happen.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Let this sink in. If Hillary had stolen more votes and had beaten Trump in 2016, there would have been a majority of liberals in the Supreme Court by now, and we would all be felons.
