Let's see here.....a producer sends product (trusting good faith in the mail transit system and/or the fur agent) to another country to be sold. The producer should just "forget" about his hard-earned product until a check arrives thru snail mail. That producer now has zero control of anything related to his product once its shipped. He cannot stop the sale or refuse/accept any bids.

Name me another business format that the producer has so little control over his product once it leaves his possession and b4 the producer has seen one cent of his product's value.

The very least any auction company can do (in this modern internet age) is make it convenient for the producer to track his product thru the entire process, including live view of the sale.

I think I'll just continue to sell what few southern pelts at the back of the Groenwold truck....which is the ONLY real option here anyway.

But the northern fur like wolves and wolverines that are promoted by FHA overseas sell for high prices.
