Keep the video coming!

Thanks. Most of these trails were widened out from dog mushing trails prolly over a hundred years old. The dozer trails maybe in the 1960s. I started with a crazy amount of different wolverine sets and after a few years most of my wolverine sets have evolved into this one. I haven’t had a refusal in 3 seasons, if a wolverine finds this set he’s done. I am down to put in sets I’ve never tried though. I have tried that set for cats in the past but didn’t have any luck. Thanks though I’ll keep an eye out for a spot to put this set in. The wife and I are editing a few more videos. Thanks

My wife and I enjoy these videos very much and we're not really ones to watch other people's adventures very often. But, you sir, are fun to watch and while your editing is solid, what makes your videos fun to watch is "you." Your passion and enjoyment for what us trappers do is contagious and so we await your next adventure. We're trapping in south Texas where it'll be 84 today and we wear sun tan lotion and bug spray and then we come back and tune in a bit of Enigmatic Gwichin. Which I wonder.... I assume your Gwichin by heritage but does your name tag Enigmatic mean "mysterious?" So you'd be a mysterious Indigenous? grin

Anyway, well done and the sign off with God Bless wraps all of it in a splendid bow. We await your next adventure!

Blessings,
Mark and Donna

Haha wow I’ve trapped in -60, 84 above 0 would be a whole different ball game for sure. Hope your hard work on your Trapline pays off. Yeah my dad is Gwich’in and was born a couple hundred yards from where I’m sitting now. The Enigmatic part comes in because we see how my people (the Gwich’in) are portrayed on tv and in political circles. Which for the most part is not true. So the real Gwich’in are a bit mysterious or at least not understood. So we try to open peoples eyes that may have only seen the Hollywood side. Haha Mysterious Indigenous sounds like a great YouTube channel name! We have another Trapline check video and last falls moose hunt video just about completed. Hope you and the wife enjoy! Thanks for writing

This is the only trapping youtuber I watch, other than Andrew. My buddy lives and traps in Alaska and likes the channel as well. Very well done with a positive/faith based attitude. It matters.

EG, have you read any of Velma Wallis books? Think I got the name right. She's from Ft. Yuk. Two old women was a good story.
Guess I'm wrong about changing things up if your not getting any refusals. Use what works. However, a hanging wolverine ought to get a few wolves prancing around a set...........haha.
Your dad was born in Venetie............what about your mom?
Will the next vid have some daylight in it? Keep em coming!

Yeah I know Velma. My wife is from the same village. Last summer we went to a garage sale she was having and we got there late, so she just gave us a bunch of tools, books, and her lifetime in FortYukon collection of agates she found on sandbars along the Yukon river. Oh man I’m always down with trying new sets, I’ll keep an eye out for the perfect spot to try that set.

My dad was born here and my mom was born on the east coast. She moved here to teach and 40 years later here I am
