I will be having tag soup also but my son got the dg345 tag that I was successful on last year so that great we have some experience with it.

If you have read my book, you will know that there is a surefire way to draw a Bison permit in Alaska...

After about 40 years of applying in Alaska, I gave up and went and shot a bison on the Crow Reservation in Montana. As soon as I paid a fortune to Alaska Airlines to air freight the meat back to AK, I drew a bull tag at Delta!

That was many years ago. Now I am applying for bison tags again.... and once again, NOT getting drawn!

You have to admit Pete it was a great adventure even if chokecherries taste a bit different than the finished syrup as long as you remember the seeds in them .

Last year I joined the ranks of tag soup eaters . I hope this year will be better !
