Is there any difference in skinning an animal that has been frozen and then thawed than one that hasn't? (Beaver) in freezer

Much easier to do when they are still warm, but no big deal to skin after being frozen.

Frozen when you got to your trap? I’m going to the shack tonight to do a check before my little trip to Vegas Monday (gonna shoot some guns that we can’t touch up here). If I get something I’ll rough skin it tomorrow and freeze it until I get back. Fold it skin to skin & roll it up with a wire or zip tie through the nose or eye. I’ll hang it up to thaw and once it’s unrolled on its own it should be ready to flesh.
