SNIPERBBB OP trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 16,606 Rodney,Ohio	Once it decides to stop flooding here, i need to do some magnet fishing to recover some traps that were in the middle of beaver dams. Those dams don't exist now as a result of the floods. Tried using a drag and dredging the likely areas but too many waterlogged logs. So what's a good magnet to get? But it is a strong magnet and I did recover the rifle I bought it to recover it with. I believe I just bought the strongest one listed on Amazon.

When I got them they were around $20 not sure what they are now. The would be plenty good to pick up a trap if not stuck in brush. I know it easily handled a 1/2 drive battery impact in 8 ft water. The other two magnets I have are the regular ones from the internet sold as fishing magnets. I don't recall the lift in lbs. I think they were in the $35-$40 range.
