Allan Minear trapper A Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 11,362 MT (Big Sky Country)	Two days ago I drove up to Great Falls a day early to have gallbladder surgery before even more snow and ice was formed on the road roughly 120 miles one way , had the surgery got through the early recovery enough to be released I checked the MDT 511 for a road report it was snowing but we knew it was going to get worse so we headed out to deal with the blowing and drifting snow and icy roads and plummeting temps . I should of asked for another dose of pain meds but the pharmacy in town took care of me . I'd rather deal with sub zero temps from the comfort of home ! The road from Eddie's Corner to Harlowtown was close due to white out conditions and sub zero temps it makes me wonder how well any of the electric powered cars would do in this ha ha

We've had intestate and smaller highways closed now for about 3 days except for a brief 4 hr period 2 nights ago. Truckers have to be getting crazy trying to find a way around the closures. I noticed some posts this morning by WYDOT in areas roads are closed for the season, winter. Trucks must be trying new routes. Wind has kept plows from getting roads clear. Might try the grocery store this morning but I bet pickings are slim. No real needs though thankfully.
