Since all of our communities have been saturated with mentally ill folks, drug addicts, alcoholics illegal invaders and then just straight up persons too lazy to work. Every intersection has multiple people soliciting money for their addictions. Now, I will preface this with the following. I feed alot of these folks a couple of times a week as the grocery stores call me when meat is about to or is one day past expiration, potatoes need rotated and so on.
However, now a couple of them have acquired a car and a brand new, never used gas can. Sitting in the middle of nowhere between where I live and where Savell resides. so, I have an idea. I am pretty sure that Savell and I, once he pulls his traps, can take advantage of the Redneck Inflation Reduction Act. You women folk on here dont beat me up for thinking such an aweful thing, yet, I do think many sympathetic men and women folk will sho nuff understand and be openly generous. So, I am making my sign to show all of the motorists at same said intersection as these two who have fled the city corners.
"My Wife Is going through Menopause, I am miserable and am looking for a new place to live. Need money for medications, and liquor. Anything Helps, God Bless."
I am fairly certain this is very morally wrong. But I bet I can get some good laughs and run these two goobers to another location. I do suppose, should anyone donate, I shall give it to the many youth groups looking to fund summer camp trips.
And, I dont find it any different than if we were to raid any career politician and relieve them of their unlawful campaign funds for which they have never paid taxes.
Just a thought.

Just a thought. Slight edit to the above.

Used to be a guy in Des Moines that had a sign that read "Why Lie? I need beer." Got to give him some points for honesty, I guess. I think i dropped a silo (25oz)of bud off with him once. Bought a gallon of water for the guy with the Dog at the Altoona exit. No Cash.

I know a lot of people are in a bad spot and truly need help but this mooching mentality has got to stop, I was in one of local country stores a while back and there was a lady saying she needed milk for her baby and asked the clerk if she could have some money, the clerk said go back and get you a gallon of milk and feed your baby. The lady looked at the clerk and said that I would rather have the money as milk is cheaper at the dollar store, the clerk exploded and used a bunch of words that don't belong on trapperman but it boiled down to if I am giving you the milk what difference does it make how much it costs and to get out of her store and to never come back. It is people like that who have made if difficult for those who truly need a hand up to get it. One of the better stories I've heard is one of our fine native Americans showed up just after the milking was done needing an advance on lease money to buy milk for the baby, the farmer handed it my a jar of fresh milk instead. The farmer never did get his jar back.
