I'm looking purchasing one.

Does anyone have any info on them?

Restoration difficulty?

Parts available?

Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve got 2 one from each side of the family. 1 is a size bigger than the other just guessing but I’d say a 6 quart and an 8 quart. They are great stuffers, never needed any parts. I would buy everyone I seen if the condition and price was right. I had a butcher friend that had probably a dozen when he passed away. Use, clean, oil, repeat very simple in my opinion.

Does the stuffer tubes and attachment come with it? Might have a hard time finding them if not.

I bought one on eBay a while back. Had it sand blasted and powder coated. Works well as a sausage stuffed as long as the person cranking is strong and the person holding the casing uses minimal back pressure. Also, there is some blow back from around the plunger. There was a company out there called “Chop-Rite” that sold parts.

Yup,,newer ones have an air pressure relief valve built into the plunger.Makes the cranking not as hard and less air in the casing.

I think I still have one over in our antique storage unit. I remember that if it is still there it is in great shape. Will check on it.

F. Dick, made in Germany, is a great brand if you are looking for a quality stuffer. Will last many lifetimes. Not cheap though. Super easy to crank and use. Very easy to clean. I think it was close to 500 for it.

They sure do leak. I’ve tried various gaskets over the years. They help some. Invested in a Cabelas Stuffers a few years back and it works very very well.

I have one, works great. Gotta put the meat in and push it down by hand to get the air pockets out before u stuff. Not much from around the plate comes out of mine. Wife can crank the handle. I have one of the larger ones too but never used it yet, needs cleaned up.

I cut a piece of 1/4 inch white rope and lay it around the top after I fill the stuffer with meat. It’s perfect for sealing the seam. If it cracks hard typically I oil the horizontal gear and it’s fine.
