It has been years since I read FFG. Is it still a good read, and does it still include trapping articles?
Any other magazine recommendations?
Thanks!

I have been subscribing to FFG since he 1960's It is as good or better than it ever was .Lots of good trapping articles. And lots of good stories from everyday people and how they go about enjoying the things they do .

Good magazine for outdoor articles. For almost strictly trapping can’t beat Trappers Post.

I have been getting f u r fish and game magazine since the early 1960s. It is where I learned a lot of my early knowledge of trapping. The March Edition of FFG has an article of mine they just published. It is a milestone for me I always wanted to have an article of mine in it. It is called the Muskrat gun. I have hundreds of back copies of fur Fish and Game that I have saved for many years. I really have enjoyed the Lou and Charlie series of Adventure stories. The Trappers post Magazine has also agreed to publish one of my how to articles next year. With everything going digital it is still nice to have the old method of relaying information by the printed word.

I agree with all the other posters. I'm a long time subscriber and it's still a great magazine. I look forward to it each month.

A great read which had me imagining that I was there. Would love to read more of your articles.

Like others, I've been getting it for many years, another good trapping magazine is Trappers World, it is published on quality paper like FFG.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

You should visit their company in Columbus Ohio. They have a room full of past magazines and another crammed full of every book they have advertised in their Magazines. Everytime we go to Columbus I pick up more. It is not that big of a place. I thought it would be bigger anyway

I remember reading it long ago in the high school library 1985 -1989. Doubt you'd find many outdoor magazines or any magazines period now in a high school library.? I had a subscription at one time but haven't for many years. I agree with it most likely forming and informing a lot of trappers. Those days seem like like so dang long ago, and a much simplier time.

I also prefer reading an actual magazine than an online version.
