Just looked at mine. Plain old run of the mill pages, none missing -no extra. But the content is exceptional as usual

Mine has the right pages in the correct order. I seldom ever get a Trappers Post that isn't damaged, I think the size of the magazine and the low grade quality of the paper it is printed on has something to do with it. I get at least 7 or 8 other publications and seldom get a damaged issue in any of them.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Eric Space, seeing as you’re one of the few people who use their real name on an online forum, I was able to look up your subscription and I have a new copy in Monday’s outgoing mail for you already. Sorry about that, we had a couple others in the same boat so I contacted the print company and got this explanation.
“We print the Trapper’s Post in three sections, then it is collated, stitched and trimmed. Sounds like the bindery staff may have inadvertently placed a turn (25 copies) of one section in the wrong pocket when it was being collated.” If anyone else gets one with the same problem, please let us know and we’ll send you a new one.
Nittany Lion, you can surmise all you want about the paper quality and size, but being a former postal employee/letter carrier, I can assure you that the size and paper quality have nothing to do with the delivered condition. I've seen everything from postcards to Social Security checks to packages and magazines destroyed beyond recognition. Yet, newspapers, large tabloids, college diplomas, Mother’s Day cards, etc. come through in pristine condition. I’ve seen letters written on grocery bags and even a beach flip flop, so it has nothing to do with size or quality.
Periodicals arrive at the post office bundled together with plastic bands or sometimes loose. Each bundle has 25 or more magazines in it. I noticed when I sorted mail that it seemed to always be the top and/or bottom copy in the bundle that was damaged, if any. They’re sent to the post office in route order and the same person/people are always on the top or bottom of the bundle. Unfortunately, it's getting worse as the postal system seems to be in a downward spiral; like many others they are also understaffed so, stuff gets caught in machines, belts, conveyers, etc. more often. Some distribution centers seem to take more care than others.
My WCT magazine always came to me shredded. Working in the post office I saw that it was ALWAYS on the top of the bundle, the ones underneath it were always in fine shape.
DaveP, please, if you are not happy about the condition of your delivered magazine, contact us for a new one. We always replace magazines upon request. This is something others won’t do. Sorry the staples weren’t lined up in your last issue, no man or machine is perfect. When doing something as high volume as this, there’s likely to be a glitch once in a while.
Horse Creek, garart, Muskratwalt, Turtledale, Brian Sprague, marathonman, Nittany Lion, Eric Space, and everyone else, thank you for your comments!
If anyone has a problem with delivered condition, please call or email us. Do not leave a PM here or message as I have little time to scan through forums. Our contact info is on the inside cover. You can email me at mwilhite@trapperspost.com or the office at office@trapperspost.com or call M-F 8am-4pm CST, (715) 445-2540. By calling you’ll actually talk to someone right here who cares, not someone off in another land.
Thanks, Mike Trapper's Post

That’s funny Dave, my old mail carrier used to borrow my FFG for a few days. Eric Pretty sure he was messing with me. He be like, " Man, this month is the greatest issue EVER!" But he was a SERIOUS mule deer hunter, he'd head to Colorado every year and come back with some insane racks.

All my pages are there Eric. Boy it really gets roughed up in the US mail though. Good thing I am not a collector! Turn in a complaint to the Post Office. You'll get the usual run around, but it stopped. I think someone was feeding it into the machine wrong. On purpose.

Back in the early 80's when The Trapper magazine was at its apex, mine were being stolen at the local post office.
The Trapper magazine tracked them to that post office, so the investigation began.
Turns out one of the employees husband was a local trapper whom I was in direct trapping competition with....My, my the fur boom really brought them out of the woodwork...Even the USPS had a Johnny Sneakum!
