Nope, but that stuff grew back fast the reason for agent orange. Im guessing they might have got the idea from WW 2 putting make shift shears and blades on the tanks in WW 2 during the Normandy Invitation to get through the hedge rows.
I was in the SeaBees in the delta, never seen anything like that. Dozers and agent orange was the tool down there. Way to wet for some think as big as that.
After the war Weyhauser (sp) had a machine that was brought back from VN. It took seven trucks or four train cars to move it to new locations. It was amphibious. Reduced woodland to chips. Was over ten feet wide. Built for our military. Was a site to see and very loud.
