Seen the first mole mound of the year push up through the 5 inches of snow yesterday. Spring is on its way.

I have seen mounding for the last month or more. Snow cover has been melted for a while. Lots of rain however.

Once the saturated ground drained off the mounds were popping up all over the place. All along the highways where I traveled, I noticed lawn mounding, it was quite evident. Hopefully it will be a good season.

The consumers will be running around buying mole pellets, traps and sonic devices to try their luck. LOL Then once they figure out it doesn't work, they may call a professional for help. Seems to be an annual cycle in these parts.

Funny Limestone, Got a carpenter ant call last week. Weekend Log cabin with heat left on all the time. I don't do bugs, Referred them to Natures Way. I don't think those moles could get through this frozen snow .

Yeah, I imagine the pile would spread out 7nder the snow. Between today's snow, and the snow they expect later this week, we might finally get some winter weather!
